چکیده

Grid Computing environments are mainly created to lead the shared use of different resources based on business/science needs. The way these resources are shared in terms of CPU cycles, storage capacity, software licenses, . . . is normally established by the availability of these resources out of the local administration context. Semantic Grid is the extension of Grid Computing with Semantic Web based technologies. Semantic Web allows grid management data to be machine-understable represented, therefore reasoning can handled complicated situations in Virtual Organization management. This paper presents the extension of CAM (Collaborative Awareness Model) to manage Virtual Organizations in Semantic Grid environments. CAM applies some theoretical principles of awareness models to promote resource interaction and management as well as task delivery.

A Context-aware Architecture for Mental Model Sharing through Semantic Movement in Intelligent Agents

Recent studies in multi-agent systems are paying increasingly more attention to the paradigm of designing intelligent agents with human inspired concepts. One of the main cognitive concepts driving the core of many recent approaches in multi agent systems is shared mental models. In this paper, we propose an architecture for sharing mental models based on a new concept called semantic movement....

Use of Semantic Similarity and Web Usage Mining to Alleviate the Drawbacks of User-Based Collaborative Filtering Recommender Systems

One of the most famous methods for recommendation is user-based Collaborative Filtering (CF). This system compares active user’s items rating with historical rating records of other users to find similar users and recommending items which seems interesting to these similar users and have not been rated by the active user. As a way of computing recommendations, the ultimate goal of the user-ba...

Web Service Based Knowledge Grid for Biomedicine

The main feature of the Grid, which appeals to communities outside of the high performance computing community, is its ability to share resources across boundaries of institutions and organizations, or in other words, resources that are not subject to centralized control [1]. In computational grids, the shared resource is computing power of processors, thus a computational grid forms a large vi...

AHP Techniques for Trust Evaluation in Semantic Web

The increasing reliance on information gathered from the web and other internet technologies raise the issue of trust. Through the development of semantic Web, One major difficulty is that, by its very nature, the semantic web is a large, uncensored system to which anyone may contribute. This raises the question of how much credence to give each resource. Each user knows the trustworthiness of ...
